By donating to our Fund-A-Need program, you help the Folk School bring people together for experiences in learning and community life that spark self-discovery. Donation options include our annual fund, our program areas, scholarships, or specific items. We have a variety of specific needs, from painting easels to woodcarving workbenches, and from cooking studio shelving to golf carts. You can browse your favorite studio/program area or check out projects and upgrades around campus to find the right listing at the right gift level for you. By donating, you become an enduring part of the Folk School, ensuring a better experience for yourself and other learners.
How It Works:
You can choose to fully or, in some cases, partially fund a need. For example, we’re asking for 50 Blacksmith Tongs at $45 each. You can donate any number of tongs, up to 50, by entering that number in the Quantity box. Donate to our annual fund in increments of $100; just choose the number of increments you want to give. Under each studio or program area, you can fund individual scholarships or provide overall program support for a particular class area like Clay or Woodturning. Once you’ve made your choice, simply check out from your Cart using your credit card.
If you’d prefer to pay by check, make it payable to John C. Campbell Folk School and list the item(s) you’re donating to in the Memo field on your check (or include a note). Mail it to Kathi Osborne, Development Director, John C. Campbell Folk School, 1 Folk School Rd., Brasstown, NC 28902.
If you have questions, email Kathi Osborne, Development Director, at kathi@folkschool.org or call 800-365-5724.
We appreciate your support!
